Our honey is 100% British and produced in our local apiary near Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park in Poole, Dorset. Each jar captures the flowers and seasons around our hives, giving you a true “taste of place.” This single-area approach is a hallmark of high-quality British honey and helps preserve natural flavour and character. Minimally filtered honey protects flavour and goodness.

Yes – our honey is straight from the hive and unpasteurised, just as nature made it. Therefore, the honey can naturally crystallise (turn grainy or set) over time, especially in cooler weather. That’s a good sign of real honey! To make it runny again, place the closed jar in warm (not hot) water and stir gently.

You can buy jars at Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park shop, and once our website goes live you’ll be able to Buy Here online for convenient UK delivery. Keep an eye on the Home and Buy Here tabs for stock updates, seasonal batches, and special releases.

  • Runny honey pours easily and is perfect for drizzling on yoghurt or pancakes.
  • Set (or soft-set) honey is honey that has naturally crystallised and then been gently stirred until smooth, giving it a spreadable, buttery texture that’s ideal on toast.
  • Creamed honey is usually paler in colour and extra silky. It often contains oilseed rape nectar, which crystallises quickly and creates that light, creamy finish many people love.
  • Honeycomb is the original treat straight from the hive: no foundation is used, purely edible wax cells filled with pure honey. (Available 2026)
  • Children: Do not give honey to infants under 12 months. For ages 1+, honey is a natural sweet treat when enjoyed in moderation.
  • Vegan: Honey is made by bees, so it isn’t considered vegan.
  • Allergies: If you have pollen or bee-related allergies, please check with a healthcare professional before consuming.
  • Hayfever: Some people believe that eating local honey may help with seasonal discomforts like hayfever, because it contains traces of local pollen. Although this hasn’t been scientifically proven, it’s a traditional belief shared by many of our customers.

We follow responsible UK beekeeping practices, placing hives where forage is abundant, supporting biodiversity, and harvesting with care so our colonies thrive. Many respected British honey producers emphasise sustainability and minimal processing to protect bees and flavour; we share those values. Explore our methods in Our Story and From the Bees, and watch behind-the-scenes Vimeo videos of the bees at work.
